Vintage Overview
2021 growing season consisted of relatively hot, dry season, rai near the end brought restricted extended hang time on the vines, but the resulting reds were balanced, nuanced, ripe but not overly alcoholic.

Winemaking
Each variety was fermented separately, allowing greater winemaking control over the parcels of fruit.

Regular pumping over or punching down during fermentation extracted smooth and full flavored fruit. After fermentation, the wine was transferred to a combination of neutral oak and seasoned in French and American oak for approximately 9 months prior to blending and bottling in July 2022. 1125 cases produced.
