Vintage Overview
2025 started out very cold with a frost event causing a much
lighter crop yield, a cold spring and cooler wet summer lead
to leaner , less ripe fruit profiles.

Winemaking
The grapes were pressed with the addition of special
enzymes to promote varietal character, then racked after two
days of cold settling. The fermentation took place at very low
temperature, which slowed the fermentation and preserved
many of the aromas from the grapes and produced an
elegant and complex profile. A small portion of the wine’s
fermentation was stopped early to leave a small amount of
residual sugar to create a rounder wine. The wine stayed in
the tank for clarification, and bottled in December 2025.
